The incredibly popular sports title Rocket League was announced to be coming to Nintendo Switch back at E3 2017. The Switch version will be launching sometime in the winter, but some interesting news has come out today about its development.

It looks like the folks over at Psyonix have teamed up with another studio for the Switch port: Panic Button. The studio has worked with Psyonix before for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Rocket League. The team also has experience with Wii U and Wii games, too.

Still can’t wait to play such a fun game on the Switch! When it releases, it will be the only version of Rocket League that can be played portably (unless you own a gaming laptop…)
