Today RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition was announced for PC and Nintendo Switch from Frontier Developments. The game is set to launch on Sept. 24. This news follows Frontier Developments’ already announced Jurassic World Evolution: Complete Edition that will launch for Nintendo Switch on Nov. 3. Hopefully we’ll see even more of its titles make the jump to the Switch in the future.

If you’ve never played a RollerCoaster Tycoon game, don’t worry, because this is probably the best one before RollerCoaster Tycoon World. You are handed a blank canvas of land on which you can build your own theme park. It’s down to you to place rides, build roller coasters, and manage everything about your park. You get feedback from attendees, who are usually hungry or need the toilet. You then use that to address any issues present in your park — or make your guests suffer more.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 originally launched for PC in 2004, and it was incredible. At the time it gave you unprecedented freedom with the park you created. It’s still played a lot today. Though that’s mostly because you can build a park with a roller coaster that just throws guests into the air. This game is perfect for anyone who loves management simulators.

You only have to wait a couple weeks to experience RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch and PC.

Started out playing Metroid 2 on the GameBoy at around 5 years-old, and now I write about games all day long. Can't play Switch and drive, I've tried. As time goes on the Switch is quickly becoming my favourite console of all time.
