Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance Radiant Dawn remakes Tellius duology rumor Reddit thanibomb u/thanibomb 2019 Three Houses information correct

As you can see, we’re not trying to deceive anybody with the title of this article — this story is as gigantic a grain-of-salt rumor as it gets. But now that we’ve established that, let’s get on with it: A Reddit user with a strong track record for Fire Emblem leaks has potentially intimated that Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance from GameCube and Radiant Dawn from Wii, known collectively as the Tellius duology, may receive Nintendo Switch remakes.

Per a Reddit thread, Reddit user u/thanibomb accurately described several unannounced details of Fire Emblem: Three Houses in a thread in 2019. Fast-forward to more recent times, and Reddit users have been speculating what’s next for the franchise. They have noted how mobile title Fire Emblem Heroes has received a significant amount of content from Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn in the past year, and preorders for an an Ike statue recently opened. When one particular Reddit user speculated modestly about what the influx of Tellius content in Heroes could mean for the game, thanibomb responded with, “I think it’s something much bigger…”

Then yesterday, amid more speculation, one Reddit user stated, “Remember how last year there was a Tellius seasonal every month? Maybe those alts were supposed to coincide with a Tellius remake but the game got delayed cause of covid, but they decided to release the alts anyway.” Thanibomb responded to this comment with an “eyes” emoji, implying there was some degree of accuracy. The user has not made any clarifications since.

Is this a slam dunk that Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn remakes are in development for Nintendo Switch? Good God no. It’s, again, a grain of salt. At worst, it’s amusing food for thought. At best, it’s an intensely promising sign of things to come. We are doing a bit of further investigation and will report back if we have an update.

Update 9:30 p.m. ET: Thanibomb confirms exclusively to us that this story is bogus.
