Nintendo revealed its new system, the Switch, just a week ago. The reveal trailer showed off the concept behind the unique new system, but a lot of questions were left unanswered. Nintendo revealed recently that it will be having a special presentation in January 2017 where more details about the Switch will be revealed, but until then we’re going to have to rely on comments from those on the inside. According to one rumor, a game developer from Germany has given some details about the system.

According to the rumor, the Nintendo Switch’s main, tablet-like unit features a capacitive touchscreen that is capable of recognizing up to 10 inputs at once. The rumor also states that current development kits are running on older hardware specifications. The actual console may feature Nvidia’s new TEGRA X2 chip, which would bring it in about the same ballpark as the base PS4/Xbox One.

Since this is rumor, be sure to take this information with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, it’s exciting to learn more details about the system. Keep the patience going until January for the official word!
