Warner Bros may be developing a new “Toys-to-Life” video game title if a new rumor is correct. This game would launch later this year, presumably on platforms including the Wii U.

This planned title is in development at Traveller’s Tales, the developer of the other Lego titles, and is anticipated to be a direct competitor to both Disney Infinity and Skylanders.

When associate producer Tim Wileman of Traveller’s Tales was asked about toys-to-life Lego titles, he gave a cryptic response.

“I don’t want to focus too much on the other games at the moment, but what I will say is, like I say, we’re always looking to push the boundaries on these games in terms of the scope and the potential and we’re ambitious in that respect.
