It’s finally 2019, which means the next mainline Pokémon game is not too far away. We know virtually nothing about the game other than it is set to release this year, but that hasn’t stopped fans from uncovering some possible information about the game. Many fans are suggesting that game will take place in a region inspired by the United Kingdom, with the games possibly being called Pokémon Crown and Pokémon Sceptre.

The source of these rumors all began from a calendar found in the Pokémon Let’s Go games. There’s been a pattern with recent Pokémon games that provide hints on where the next generation will take place. Both Pokémon X/Y and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Saphire had hinted to a tropical region for the next game, which became true with Pokémon Sun and Moon. So does this confirm the hints in Pokémon Let’s Go are true? There’s no real way to tell, but you can check out the evidence down below and see for yourself.

Twitter user ShiningStar5022 suggests that the map found on the calendar above looks very similar to the United Kingdom. To further the speculation, users have also reported that the Pokémon Company has started to use a crown in a lot of media. The crown, of course, is a symbol of the British monarchy which again links back to the United Kingdom.

Do you think there’s any truth to this speculation? Would you like to see a United Kingdom region? Be sure to share all your thoughts on this in the comments down below!
