Samurai Shodown x Guilty Gear collaboration DLC character teased

We first heard about the Guilty Gear collaboration DLC character coming to Samurai Shodown back in February, and the wait is almost over with a full reveal coming soon. SNK has shared a silhouette teaser to keep you guys guessing which character from the Arc System Works fighting game series will be joining Samurai Shodown as the fourth and final DLC character for Season Pass 3.

The Samurai Shodown x Guilty Gear DLC silhouette doesn’t reveal much, but it appears to be a character with cool hair and a giant weapon. So that doesn’t help much since that’s basically more than half the Guilty Gear roster. Jokes aside, if we’re talking giant swords, it could be Kliff who wields the gigantic Dragonslayer blade. The other possibility is the fan-favorite Baiken. While Baiken wields a standard-sized katana, there’s a chance that the left part of the silhouette isn’t a giant weapon but her giant hair.

In any case, we can expect to see the full reveal later today. SNK hasn’t given a specific time on when we can expect to see it, but a new trailer will be available on SNK’s official YouTube channel, so stay tuned. The Guilty Gear character will be the fourth Season Pass 3 character following ChamCham, Hibiki Takane, and Shiro Tokisada Amakusa.

Samurai Shodown is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Epic Games Store.
