eShop Nintendo deals The Game Awards sale

The Game Awards are tonight at 8:30 p.m. EST, and everybody really doesn’t want you to forget. Along those lines, you can treat yourself to The Game Awards sale on digital Nintendo Switch games, which are discounted on the eShop for upward of (even above) 50% off. Deals begin today and last through Dec. 18 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Here is a list of the Nintendo deals offered:

  • Super Mario Odyssey – $41.99 (regular $59.99)
  • Cadence of Hyrule – Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring the Legend of Zelda – $17.49 (regular $24.99)
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition – $41.99 (regular $59.99)
  • Octopath Traveler – $35.99 (regular $59.99)

  • Mortal Kombat 11 – $29.99 (regular $59.99)
  • What Remains of Edith Finch – $11.99 (regular $19.99)

The Game Awards sale is more or less on par with the great deals you would expect of a Steam sale. The first Crypt of the NecroDancer is actually more than 50% off, in fact. But if that’s not your flavor, maybe HD-2D JRPG Octopath Traveler is. And certainly $18 off Super Mario Odyssey is better than nothing, but there’s a good chance you already own that if you have a Nintendo Switch.

Tell us which, if any, games you’ll be taking advantage of in this sale!
