Scott Pilgrim is one of those things that you either love or you’re wrong. The comics were excellent, the movie was superb, and the video game gets all the chef’s kisses. After many years of (presumed) behind-the-scenes legal drama, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition is finally seeing a re-release on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch later this month, and wouldn’t you know it — Limited Run Games is here for the Scott Pilgrim physical editions.
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game is undeniably iconic, so Limited Run is putting out three versions. First is the standard edition for $34.99. It comes with a reversible cover, full-color instruction booklet, and a commemorative Clash at Demonhead concert ticket.
Second is the Classic Edition. It’s got a lot of goodies like the stuff from the standard version, but it also includes a clamshell case that looks like an old Sega Genesis box, stickers, an Anamanaguchi CD, and a world map. This one will go for $54.99.
But hey, go big or go home, right? If you’ve got the space and love Scott Pilgrim at least as much as Knives Chau does, Limited Run offers the K.O. Edition. It contains everything the other two have, plus a guidebook, CD, and cassette featuring Anamanaguchi’s music, actual drumsticks and guitar picks, an enamel pin, evil ex trading cards, and a “premium hard-shell collector’s case” with lights, music, and a scene from the Sex Bob-omb set. This monster of a special edition will set you back $139.99 (or $178.26 Canadian at the time of this writing).
There’s also a bunch of merch, such as shirts, enamel pins, keychains, and a Switch case. All of this is going to be on open preorder from Jan. 15 to Feb. 28. Keep in mind that Limited Run products tend to take a while to arrive, and it’s estimating four-to-five months before the games ship. There’s no limit to any of these special editions, so feel free to give the gift of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition to your friends, your bandmates, your evil exes, and your awesome roommate.
