Today Sega opened the application process to attend the Sonic Birthday Party at the Tokyo Joyopolis. This year marks the 22nd birthday of the Blue Blur, and with this year’s celebration Sega will be celebrating by providing a talk from the team behind Sonic: Lost World as well as a live demonstration of the game in action.
The application process runs from today until June 12th, and entrants will be entered into a lottery from which 100 will be selected and provided free admission into the Joyopolis, some official Sonic: Lost World swag, a chance to meet the Sonic team, and an up close walkthrough of the demo version of the game.
Those who do not win will be afforded the opportunity to watch in a different way, but those details have not yet been revealed. Those details will be provided at a later date. I presume that the rest of the world will have an opportunity to get a peek at the game in action at some point after the celebration.
