Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass likely headed to Nintendo Switch

Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass is probably coming to Nintendo Switch, according to a job listing for a C++ Programmer at the Croteam developer website. The job description duties include “Developing tools and tech behind our in-house Serious Engine for multiple platforms (PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch [emphasis added], Linux, OS X, Android, iOS…).” Serious Sam 4 is also specifically name-dropped in the job listing as the game that will be developed, but “some unannounced projects” are referenced as well.

Currently, this game is not formally announced for any platforms, and really all that exists of it is some gloriously unattractive pre-alpha footage. (Reminder: Nothing is final in a pre-alpha build.) But the series has a pretty good track record, so Switch owners will be happy to welcome this one to the family.

This discovery comes from YouTuber Doctre81, who has an eagle eye when it comes to video game job listings and resumes. Thanks, doc!
