Independent developer Shin\’en Multimedia have tweeted the first screenshot of their upcoming racing game, FAST Racing Neo, a sequel to their WiiWare title, FAST Racing League. There’s promise of more to come next week, and we should hope so because while this environmental shot is very pretty, racing games are about, well, racing! Show us the cars!

With the promise of \”Hyper Real Graphics\” and pushing the Wii U’s hardware, fans have been gasping for more information and screens of this game since its initial announcement many months ago. FAST Racing Neo doesn\’t have a concrete release date yet, but it’s set to release some time this year on the Wii U eShop. Shin\’en are also releasing Art of Balance very soon, and they just released some more information on the game, detailing the enhancements the game has received from the WiiWare original.

Are you a Wii U owner who is craving a game similar to F-Zero? It might just be that FAST Racing Neo is as close as you can get for this moment in time. Will you be picking this game up when it launches on the Wii U eShop?
