Sky: Children of the Light release date June 29, 2021 Nintendo Switch thatgamecompany

Thatgamecompany will launch social adventure Sky: Children of the Light on Nintendo Switch with a release date of June 29, 2021, it revealed today during Summer Game Fest. The game originally launched on iOS in 2019, followed last year by an Android release, and now it will make its console debut. Additionally, the Le Petit Prince season of Sky will begin on July 6, but details on that seem to be scarce right now.

Sky: Children of the Light was originally supposed to launch for Switch last year, but it was delayed due to complications of game development during the pandemic. The game involves exploring large lands with others and collecting assorted currencies, and you have a cape that lets you fly. It received a strong critical reception, so it will likely be worth the wait.
