The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is getting a 5-disc original soundtrack and a limited-edition music box this November in Japan.
Skyward Sword was originally released for the Wii in November 2011. Its place on the Zelda timeline is the very start of it all, where the battle between good and evil began. The game also establishes the first incarnations of Zelda, Link, and Ganondorf.
Earlier this year, Nintendo released an HD remaster for Skyward Sword with improved graphics, updated UI, and more for Switch. The original soundtrack commemorates the last 10 years of Skyward Sword with a whopping 187 tracks across five discs.
The standard edition includes five discs with 187 tracks in a tall size case. The price is 5,500 yen (~$50.01).
The limited edition goes for 8,800 yen (~$80.01). It includes everything from the standard version in an extra special box. However, the main prize is the original music box that you can only get through the limited edition version.
Check out the video below for a closer look at the music box:
The music box plays the main theme of Skyward Sword, the “Ballad of the Goddess.”
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword original soundtrack will release in Japan on November 23, 2021. If you’ve yet to try out Skyward Sword, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch.
