Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is just killing it. Nintendo’s new fighter just hit 3 million sales worldwide and is now the fastest selling Nintendo home console game of all time in Europe.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the biggest Super Smash Bros. ever, and not only is it the fastest-selling game in the series we’ve ever seen in Europe, it’s become our fastest-selling home console game ever,” said Nintendo of Europe COO Stephan Bole. “Nintendo Switch owners have a lot to look forward to in 2019, including new games in the Animal Crossing and Pokémon series, Yoshi’s Crafted World, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and more,” Bole added.

Smash selling well isn’t a surprise. The title does so much right, from its plethora of characters to variety of modes. With Switch such a diverse platform, the series is more accessible than ever.
