Sniper Elite 4 features Nintendo Switch Rebellion Developments

In September’s Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, Rebellion Developments revealed another Nintendo Switch port. This time around Sniper Elite 4 is making its way over to Nintendo’s hybrid system, following Sniper Elite V2 Remastered and Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition. Since then, Rebellion has revealed a launch date, and now a new gameplay trailer is here to show off some features of Sniper Elite 4 on Switch.

First and foremost, the game looks pretty solid on Switch, lining up with the standard console and PC versions nicely. We’ll have to wait and see what performance is like though, in both docked and handheld mode. What is clear is that Rebellion is taking advantage of all the additional Switch features.

The clip highlights four player co-op survival and includes a local mode that supports four separate Switch systems. Then an eight-player competitive mode is shown off, supporting up to eight Switch consoles locally. Sniper Elite 4 on Switch also features gyro aim, HD Rumble support, two-player local wireless campaign play, and support for the Switch Pro Controller. In short, Sniper Elite 4 on Switch is supporting all the system’s unique capabilities.

Sniper Elite 4 delivers a bit of a different World War II setting than most video games. It brings the Italian campaign to Nintendo Switch on Nov. 17.
