Someone built Pallet Town in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Pokémon Pallet Town in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Finally, someone has built Pallet Town in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Players have been recreating maps from other games – such as A Link To The Past or Link’s Awakening – but now we have something from the original Pokémon games.

We don’t know how long it took this player to build Pallet Town in New Horizons, but we’re so glad they did. In the post above, you can see them walking out from what would be Professor Oak’s Lab towards the center of town. The small pond that you can use later in the game, once you have Surf, to reach Cinnabar Island is nicely detailed at the bottom, as is the patch of flowers. The video ends on what would be Red’s house up in the northwestern corner of the town.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a full map of this recreated area to show you to use as a reference for your own islands. The build is quite small, though. No doubt, you could easily replicate it from images of Pallet Town in the old Game Boy games. So, to make life slightly easier for you, we’ve found one of those images. Check it out below and see if you can build it too.

Started out playing Metroid 2 on the GameBoy at around 5 years-old, and now I write about games all day long. Can't play Switch and drive, I've tried. As time goes on the Switch is quickly becoming my favourite console of all time.
