Summer Games Done Quick 2021 schedule

Games Done Quick (GDQ) has released the schedule for Summer Games Done Quick 2021 (SGDQ 2021), occurring July 4 – 11, 2021. There is a diverse lineup this year, including a variety of Nintendo games, such as The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, Pikmin 3 Deluxe, and Super Mario Bros. 3. The full schedule is available on the GDQ website, listing each game alongside its respective runner(s). This year’s SDGQ is shaping up to be yet another fantastic week of entertainment, featuring some amazing speed runs while also raising money for a good cause.

Just like with the last few events, Summer Games Done Quick 2021 will be online only, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. GDQ is hoping to return to a live, in-person event at Awesome Games Done Quick 2022, which will take place in January next year. There are a lot of runs that I am personally excited for, especially the “All Dungeons” run of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Other highlights include an any % race of Pokemon Black and White, Yoshi’s Story any %, and an “All Challenges” run of Kirby’s Dream Collection.

Check out the full schedule for SGDQ 2021 to see if there are any runs that you are interested in watching live. SGDQ 2021 will be streamed live on the official Games Done Quick Twitch channel.
