Famitsu review score Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury review score

Famitsu has revealed its review score for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. The Japanese publication’s scoring system is reminiscent of old EGM, with four reviewers rating the game out of 10 and combining those for an overall score. This time around, Famitsu has reviewed the Switch version of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury with a score of 36/40, compared to the Wii U original that scored a 38/40.

The scores for each individual reviewer were two nines, an eight, and a ten. Famitsu‘s review states that the Bowser’s Fury mode is “a lot of fun,” praising the new challenges that are available. The magazine also praises the game’s replayablity and the online cooperative play.

There isn’t long to wait before Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury launches. Nintendo has been frequently providing new information on social media, such as the ability to start Bowser’s Fury from the title screen and the introduction of four player co-op in the Captain Toad levels.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury launches next week on Feb. 12 alongside two amiibo figures and a beautiful limited edition Super Mario Red and Blue Switch console. These extra items are still up for preorder, so make sure you grab them while you can. We will be providing our own review for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury in the near future (though Nintendo of Canada drags its toes on these things a bit), so stay tuned!
