Nintendo announced Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury for Nintendo Switch during the Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct, where we learned it will launch on Feb. 12, 2021. We also know the game will include online multiplayer this time around. That in itself is all really exciting, but we still know nothing about the new Bowser’s Fury mode. Well, that will finally change tomorrow, as Nintendo has announced that a new Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury trailer will go live tomorrow, Jan. 12, at 9 a.m. ET / 6 a.m. PT.

It’s really rare for a re-release of an old game to garner this much hype with just a new mode, and the fact that Nintendo has been so tight-lipped about it is really raising people’s expectations. Is it a whole new range of levels where you play as Bowser? It is something completely off the wall, like a real-time strategy mode against battling Bowser’s hordes? Is it secretly all a giant ruse and the whole thing is actually about Geno?! (No. It’s definitely not that one.) We will find out tomorrow.
What do you hope to see in the Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury trailer?
