The Switch is slowly building its library of exciting retro titles from Nintendo’s days of old. Included among that is a Wii-to-Switch pipeline that basically just got off the ground this year. Between Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, Super Mario Galaxy in Super Mario 3D All-Stars, and No More Heroes and its sequel, Wii classics are starting to congregate on the Switch. There are plenty more that still need to show up, though – the Metroid Prime Trilogy, two The Legend of Zelda games, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and several others would all be great experiences on Switch. If you could put any Wii game on Switch, what would you choose?
I need to see Super Mario Galaxy 2 on Switch as soon as possible. Super Mario Galaxy is an awesome start, but its sequel would fit even better on the hybrid system thanks to its linear nature, which is perfect for short, focused bursts of gameplay. It’s my favorite Wii game that still isn’t represented on the Switch, and while there are other games I’d rather see on the platform overall, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is pretty easily my most wanted Wii game.
