Universal Studios Japan parades will have Mario, Pokémon, more in 2022

Universal Studios Japan is looking to up its parade game with Mario and Pokémon headlining its “No Limit! Parade” starting in spring 2022. Other iconic characters will be a part of the parade, including Elmo, Snoopy, and Hello Kitty. We’ll also see familiar faces from Illumination movies, including The Minions and animals from the 2016 CG musical Sing.

The No Limit! Parade was around earlier, but the park had to cancel it when the pandemic started. Now that it’s back, Universal Studios Japan will include Super Mario as part of the Super Nintendo World area of the theme park.

We’ve seen an army of dancing Pikachus march through Japan on several occasions already, but the No Limit! Parade 2022 will feature Pikachu and various other Pokémon in the mix. This comes shortly after the creative alliance partnership announcement between The Pokémon Company and Universal Studios Japan. We can expect to see more Pokémon-themed activities at the park in the future, and possibly even its own area. For now, we’ll be happy to see some of our favorite Pokémon take over the attraction park.

Visitors will get to see Super Mario, Pikachu, and more Pokémon marching in the Universal Studios Japan parade starting this spring. We still don’t have a Super Nintendo World in the West, but there’s a chance that we might see it appear at the Orlando park starting 2025 and hopefully sooner in Hollywood.
