Well, what a shocking bit of news! Y’all remember Super Nintendo World? The theme park meant to celebrate Nintendo’s rich history is due to open as part of Universal Studios Japan on February 4, 2021 (hopefully). While we have gotten teases of the area before, Nintendo of America just announced a last-minute update on the park. Tomorrow, the company is showing off the zone during a Super Nintendo World Direct.
Super Nintendo World Direct is strictly about an amusement park, not games
Here’s the message straight from Nintendo of America:
Tune in on 12/18, 3 p.m. PT for a special SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ Direct livestream! We'll spend roughly 15 minutes showing just some of @USJ_Official’s new area, #SUPERNINTENDOWORLD. No game content will be featured.https://t.co/ZNIPeE2bJS pic.twitter.com/XKoEomOJ6d

The Direct will display a bit of the upcoming extension to Universal Studios Japan for roughly 15 minutes. As a reminder, the Big N let gamers know not to expect any game content. So no news on any upcoming projects due in 2021. Major bummer!
Make sure to set your clocks for December 18 at 6:00 p.m. ET/3:00 p.m. PT to check out the footage.
