Pokémon: Let's Go Game Freak Switch

The Switch sells tons of software. Following another strong quarter for hardware sales in which the Switch overtook the 3DS family’s lifetime sales, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: Horizons both recently eclipsed 30 million units sold, while Super Smash Bros. UltimateThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Pokémon Sword and Shield all sitting happily over twenty million. Most Switch owners probably have at least a few of these future classics in their collections, but I’m curious about what’s missing. Looking at the list of the best-selling Switch games, which is the highest-selling title that you do not own?

I have to go all the way down the eighth on the list to find my most popular omission: Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! This powerful duo moved about 13 million units – not shabby at all – but the games never moved me enough to buy them. The next two titles on the list are New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, though I have that on Wii U, and Ring Fit Adventure.

Sales-wise, what’s the most popular Switch title that you do not own? Do you plan to get it eventually? Why have you waited this long in the first place? Let us know in the comments below.
