I’m certain that Nintendo is damn proud its success with the Switch. The Switch has already outsold the Wii U in just 10 months into its lifecycle. During the company’s recent investor call, director and creative lead Shigeru Miyamoto talked a bit about the future of the Switch, which is very ambitious, to say the least. Miyamoto seems pretty confident that the usual console lifecycle of five to six years is something that Nintendo can change with the Switch.
