Have you ever wished that your Switch’s screen was just a tiny bit bigger? How about a humongous bit bigger? Like, TV-sized, maybe? Sure, you could use a dock and play on a television, but then you lose the aesthetic appeal of a colorful Joy-Con on either side of the screen. Well, be jealous of Reddit user u/Hrodrig3’s nephew, who definitely does not have this problem. u/Hrodrig3 has made some seriously impressive modifications to his nephew’s TV. He has essentially turned it into a giant Switch by adding a massive Joy-Con on each end. He has thoughtfully named his handiwork after his nephew, Jay, calling the finished product the jAy-CON MOD.

As if two giant Joy-Con were not enough, u/Hrodrig3 also used some LED lighting for a finishing touch. He uploaded a short YouTube video, embedded below, showing the lights in action.

If I had that in my living room, I would immediately hook up my GameCube and pretend that the Switch had the legitimate Virtual Console that it desperately needs. What a fantastic set-up. Jay, enjoy the heck out of your stylish TV.

What do you think of this Switch-style TV? Have you ever gotten to enjoy a gaming set-up as cool as this? Share your experiences with us in the comments.
