Developer Artefacts Studio and publisher Dear Villagers are bringing tactical RPG The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in summer 2021, with the release being physical on Switch and PlayStation 4. The game already released for PC last year, and it is set in a universe created by French author John Lang that was originally intended to parody role-playing and tabletop games. The The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos console trailer shows you what to expect from the game.
The game involves exploring a “huge and surprising dungeon from the cave up to the luxury quarters of the evil lord Zangdar, passing through the goblin ice skating park and an extremely lively tavern.” There are turn-based battles, over 100 enemies to battle, special objects in the battlefield that can be interacted with strategically, and seven character classes: Ranger, Elf, Dwarf, Barbarian, Magician, Ogre, and Thief. The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos also has an “adaptive” difficulty system, but from the sounds of it, it might just be a fancy way of saying the game has difficulty options. And lastly, Felicia Day provides “feisty” voicework.
