The Falconeer Warrior Edition release date August 5, 2021 Nintendo Switch PlayStation 4 5 PS4 PS5 Tomas Sala & Wired Productions giant bird aerial dogfighting

The Falconeer: Warrior Edition is making the jump from Xbox Series X to Switch and other platforms next week. The BAFTA-nominated title has previously earned praise for its excellent world and exciting dogfights. While the original edition of the game did not exhibit sky-high levels of quality, The Falconeer: Warrior Edition aims to change that with loads of new content and tweaks. See some of those changes directly in the launch trailer below.

The Switch version is described as a “supercharged and enhanced version” of the original, boasting all content updates from the original game alongside a large expansion called “The Edge of the World.” The Falconeer: Warrior Edition also streamlines the original tutorial and re-records a whole lot of voice work in an attempt to build a more cohesive experience. If these changes are able to work in making the original game more palatable, then we could have a wonderful new aerial dogfighting game on our hands.

Are you interested in playing The Falconeer: Warrior Edition? Have you somehow had the chance to play it already on Xbox Series? If you have any experience with the game, how is it? Is the game something that tweaks and new content can fix, or do you think that the changes listed are too little, too late?
