The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles review

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles launched on Switch yesterday, bringing the beloved Victorian Ace Attorney spin-offs West for the first time. To commemorate the occasion, Capcom put together a launch trailer, which you can see below, courtesy of Nintendo’s official YouTube channel. In just two minutes, the trailer does an excellent job of acclimating fans to a whole new flavor of Ace Attorney.

Placing two popular, previously Japan-only titles in one $40 package, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles hits the mark on Switch. In our review, we awarded the game a 9 out of 10, praising its excellent story and riveting investigations and charm. It’s safe to call the compilation a must-play for any fan of the long-running series – even if it doesn’t showcase the characters that made the franchise famous in the first place, it’s still as satisfying as ever to unravel a villain’s master plot with a well-timed “Objection!

While I haven’t been able to pick up the compilation just yet, I’m very excited to get to it sometime soon. What about you? Are you grabbing The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles? If you’ve managed to start playing already, what do you think? Do you agree with our assessment, or were you less enthralled than us? Let us know in the comment section below.
