The Switch Joy-Con have become pretty popular due to their inclusion with every Switch system. But, some users find them to be too cramped because of their small size. As a result, there have been a number of accessories that have turned up which seek to make them more ergonomic. That’s exactly what’s happening yet again with this new Kickstarter project, the Grip Clip.

The Grip Clip will be an ergonomic accessory that “clips to Joy-Cons and transform them into controllers that feel truly amazing in your hands”, says the Grip Clip’s splash page. In addition to providing a more rotund shape, the Grip Clip will also be able to be used when the controllers are attached onto the console itself, including when it’s sitting in its dock. This render shows how the Switch looks from the rear with the accessory clipped on:

The Grip Clip seems like an interesting concept, though these are all the details that have been provided so far. It hasn’t even officially launched on Kickstarter yet, but the splash page promises that it will be making its way there “soon”. Hopefully the creators actually mean that and it won’t be several months before we see this turn up again.
