Announced on Twitter by the game’s developer, Novectacle, the gothic visual novel is currently in the process of being ported to the Nintendo Switch. While a specific release date or timeframe of release wasn’t shared, it was at least confirmed that the Nintendo Switch will receive the updated version of the game, The House in Fata Morgana: Dreams of the Revenants Edition.
This version of the game arrived earlier this year alongside its PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita ports, enhancing various aspects of the experience for 4K displays. It features updated UI designs, new backgrounds, redrawn artwork, and various enhanced visual effects. There’s also a suite of new story content that wasn’t available in the original PC release of the game.
Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first time The House in Fata Morgana has been available on a Nintendo platform. Back in July of 2016, FuRyu published the game on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan. This version, however, was never officially localized.
