The Smurfs - Mission Vileaf

The Smurfs – Mission Vileaf just received a new gameplay trailer, courtesy of publisher Microids and developer OSome Studio. Having received a few intriguing screenshots and trailers already, the game has wormed its way onto the radars of many excited players and fans of the series. The latest trailer shows off several of the game’s gadgets and gizmos in action, alongside some platforming gameplay. You can check out the trailer directly below, courtesy of Microids’ YouTube channel.

This trailer has me cautiously interested in The Smurfs – Mission Vileaf. The gameplay seems like it could be pretty good, and I really like the art style and environmental designs that we have gotten peaks of. Of course, I’ll need to wait a bit and see how the game actually plays – 3D platformers are hard to get just right, and something like poor, floaty controls can completely tank an experience.

What do you think of what we’ve seen of The Smurfs – Mission Vileaf so far? Are you pleasantly surprised with the gameplay and trailers up to this point? Are you not yet impressed? Are you excited, but not surprised, because you expect nothing but greatness from the Smurfs franchise? Let us know in the comment section below.
