The Switchblades by Gravilogic are not to be confused with actual switchblades, which can be used as a tool…and also a weapon. Gravilogic’s Switchblades are actually for the Nintendo Switch, and they slide into the rails typically used by the Joy-Con. They’re supposed to be a more stylish alternative to using the lamented flimsy kickstand that’s on the back of the Switch. Having originally released these a while back, Gravilogic is bringing out a new Switchblade variant that sports a matte black finish.

Aptly named “Project Black Bird“, the matte black Switchblades are going for $35.00 and are currently available for pre-order. Gravilogic is targeting 1,050 pre-orders by May 8, 2020, in order to get production started on the black stands. Shipments are expected to be delivered by October 2020, though this is subject to change due to the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 outbreak.

If you want something that pops a bit more rather than muting your Switch’s aesthetic, there are several other Switchblade color options that Gravilogic has listed on their site.
