The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition Switch available now Croteam Devolver Digital

First-person puzzle adventure The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition released today on Nintendo Switch, as revealed in the Indie World showcase. The trailer below from publisher Devolver Digital and developer Croteam invites you to hop on the Switch eShop and grab the game, which retails for $29.99. Have a look.

The Nintendo page for The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition promises the following features:

– Overcome more than 120 immersive puzzles in a stunning world.

– Divert drones, manipulate laser beams and even replicate time to prove your worth – or to find a way out.

– Explore a story about humanity, technology and civilization. Uncover clues, devise theories, and make up your own mind.

– Choose your own path through the game’s non-linear world, solving puzzles your way.

The Talos Principle originally released in December 2014 for PC and has gradually branched out to consoles. It garnered a positive critical reception, and Croteam has a sequel in the works, though seemingly little is known about it right now.

I haven’t played this game myself, but the trailer gives me vibes of The Witness, another stellar first-person puzzle adventure in a serene yet strange environment. Have you played The Talos Principle before? If so, tell us what you thought of it!
