The Witcher 3 Switch The Witcher 3 and Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales updated Nintendo Switch 3.7

It’s only been a year since The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was miraculously converted to the Nintendo Switch platform. The port from Saber Interactive brought an absolutely massive open-world RPG to the system, probably the biggest to date. Now, patch update 3.7 has been deployed that makes a few notable changes. Additionally, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales has received an update as well.

First off, a save transfer bug for The Witcher 3 has been sorted out. This could occur when players attempted to bring existing PC game saves over from the Steam and GOG versions. When the issue cropped up, it blocked further progress being made in the Switch version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The Simplified Chinese language option has also seen changes in update 3.7. The fonts and localization options have been altered to provide a better experience for players in that region. Finally, the update for The Witcher 3 on Switch contains your typical footnote of numerous bug fixes and improved game stability.

Meanwhile, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales update 1.0.2 adds the notable feature of cross-saves, allowing you to transfer saves among Switch, Steam, and GOG. Again, bug fixes and stability improvements are also stated in the patch notes.

Will you be making use of the new cross-save features in either Witcher game on Switch?
