Witcher 3 eShop

CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the most critically acclaimed RPGs of all time. Through miracles of porting, the game somehow made its way to Nintendo Switch back in 2019 with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition. This release came as a shock to many, as The Witcher 3 is a really attractive game. The Switch version also included both of the game’s expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Up until now, you were only able to purchase the Complete Edition version of the game on Switch, but that has now changed and you can purchase the base The Witcher 3 separately from the Nintendo Switch eShop.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt costs $39.99 / £29.99 on its own, compared to the Complete Edition that costs $59.99 / £49.99. You can now also purchase the DLC individually as well, with Hearts of Stone going for $9.99 / £7.99 and Blood and Wine costing $19.99 / £17.99.

This will allow you to spread out the cost if you’re hesitant to pay slightly more for the full experience. However, it will work out more expensive compared to the Complete Edition. If you already own The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition digitally, you can redeem these separate items for free to avoid confusion. In our review, we praised its engaging story and the wild amount of content available to explore.
