Tokyo Game Show 2021 organizer Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) has unveiled the main visual for this year’s online event. The artist is Kukka, who previously drew the main visual for Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Tokyo Game Show, which began in 1996. To shake things up for the 25th anniversary, the event organizers changed the official logo. Furthermore, TGS 2021 will have the first-ever VR venue showcase that will allow people to check out the venue in VR. CESA will share more details about the VR venue later.
The above is a full look at the Tokyo Game Show 2021 Online main visual by Kukka, alongside its theme, “And yet, we’ll always have games,” quoted on the left.
If you missed it last year, the above image is the Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online main visual. The quoted theme for last year’s event was along the lines of, “The future comes to video games first.”
Before TGS 2020 Online, the Tokyo Game Show’s main visuals were drawn by Ippei Gyoubu, known for his iconic pop style.
Tokyo Game Show 2021 will run from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3, 2021. The deadline for exhibitors is June 25, so it shouldn’t be long until we get a better idea of what we can expect to see at this year’s show.
