Have you wanted to try Pokemon, Smash Bros., and other big unreleased Switch titles? So far, trying out Nintendo’s biggest holiday games have been constrained to just a few events. However, if you live in the Greater Toronto Area, you will be able to try out some awesome Switch games later this month at the Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo (EGLX)! Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Super Mario Party, and, for the first time ever in Canada, Pokemon Let’s Go will be playable.

Details and tickets

EGLX will run from October 26-26 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center in downtown Toronto. With awesome panels, esports tournaments, and special guests (including Kinda Funny), this is not an event you want to miss. Tickets for the entire weekend are $75 CAD, or $40-45 CAD if you are going for just a day. Tickets for children are discounted to $10 CAD. You can buy tickets here.

Like the last EGLX, there will be cosplayers and artists of all sorts. This time, however, there is a brand-new Developer Conference. According to the website, “The EGLX Developer Conference with supporting partner CGX is bringing an amazing array of top-quality speakers, networking opportunities, and panels drawn from all over the world, sure to benefit industry veterans and aspiring developers alike.” There are also Master-Class Workshops, “getting you hands-on experience with industry leaders to develop your skills.”

Microsoft, Nvidia, and smaller Toronto retailers will be exhibiting alongside Nintendo. For more information on all the exhibitors, check out EGLX’ official list.

Will you be making EGLX this fall? If so, which games are you most excited to play?
