Pokémon Sword and Shield launched to record-smashing sales late last year, and the adventure is just getting started. A few months back, Game Freak announced that they’d be putting out an expansion pass in lieu of a third Galar-based game. This expansion pass is divided into two big DLC updates, the Isle of Armor and the Crown Tundra. The Pokémon Company just put out a new trailer highlighting both, including the release date for the first! You can look forward to playing in just two weeks. In the meantime, check out the trailer below!

About the Isle of Armor
The Isle of Armor is a large, free-roaming area like Galar’s Wild Area. In it, you’ll find a dojo where you can train with a former champ and hone the skills of Kubfu, eventually evolving it into Urshifu. Do you have what it takes to conquer either the Tower of Darkness or the Tower of Water? You’ll also have access to over 100 returning Pokémon from past games, greatly expanding the Dex for Sword and Shield. The game’s three starter Pokémon, Rillaboom, Cinderace, and Inteleon, will all be gaining G-Max forms as well. The release date is June 17, so get ready!
