The highly anticipated remake of Trials of Mana is releasing for Nintendo Switch next month on April 24. However, fans eager to play the game have some good news coming up. Square Enix announced that there will be a demo of the title available later this week on March 18.
Much like Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition, Trials of Mana will allow players to experience the beginning of the game — up to the first boss, about an hour and a half in this case. And much like that demo, you’ll be able to transfer your data over to the full version. While this is fewer hours than DQXI, Trials features six main characters, and the demo will allow players to experience their origin stories in advance of the game’s full release. This is a great way to get to know each adventurer and decide your main team before the full title comes out.
Nintendo Enthusiast played this demo at PAX East earlier this month, and we had a blast with it. From the new battle system to the voiced cutscenes to the gorgeous soundtrack, Trials of Mana is shaping up to be an excellent remake. Check out our preview when it goes live soon!
