Dragon Quest has certainly been on the mind of Nintendo fans as of late. As one of the biggest third party outings next month, and with its Hero invited to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, you might consider diving into the series for the first time with Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age — Definitive Edition. If you’re still on the fence, then you’ll likely be pleased to know that you can download a demo of the game off of the Nintendo eShop right now!

The Dragon Quest XI demo is reportedly huge, which could take players around 10 hours to complete. Thankfully, none of that time will go to waste; you can transfer your save data into the full game when it launches on September 27, 2019. In addition, those with save data of the demo or the full game on their system will also get an exclusive new Spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!

If you’re curious to see more of Dragon Quest XI S, check out Nintendo’s presentation for the game at Gamescom below, featuring series creator Yuji Horii and the game’s producer Hokuto Okamoto.

Are you gonna give the Dragon Quest demo a try later today? Sound off in the comments.
