A few weeks ago, The UPS Store released a quirky video on social media showing off their own custom-built cardboard carrying case for the recently-released Nintendo Labo toy-con sets. The video showed the case being assembled, and the best part is that it actually seems to work pretty well. If you haven’t seen it already, check it out:

The video attracted a lot of positive attention from the public. This feedback may inspire UPS to actually consider releasing the cardboard carrying case to the public.

GamesRadar reached out to The UPS Store for some comments about the Labo case and got back some interesting responses from UPS Store representative Tracy Spahr. She detailed the process of what went into building the carrying case, and also alluded to the possibility of it being released:

“Given the positive feedback and number of requests we received, we are playing with the idea, however, no final decision has been made yet.”

If you’re wondering if a cardboard carrying case would be durable, just keep in mind that items are transported in cardboard boxes anyway. So, something like this probably could work as an actual product!
