A standalone expansion to last year’s visual novel Coteries of New York is set to release next month. Vampire: The Masquerade – Shadows of New York is another visual novel that builds on the main game. It sounds like you’ll experience some pretty sinister stuff in this expansion as you solve the mystery of the gruesome murder of the Anarch Baron of New York City, and the choices you make in the investigation will have an impact. As such, the expansion has two endings. Here’s a developer rundown on Shadows of New York:
Your old life is dead and buried. You have no afterlife to look forward to, and your vampiric unlife is about to fall apart unless you solve an unsolvable crime. Welcome to New York City… and welcome to the Lasombra clan, where failure is not an option.
Hopefully these visual novels are popular enough on Switch to warrant a Vampire The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 port someday. Vampire: The Masquerade – Shadows of New York hits Nintendo Switch on Sept. 10.
