Following an ESRB rating that outed the game, it is now confirmed that Void Bastards from developer Blue Manchu is coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on May 7 via publisher Humble Bundle. Humble Bundle Publishing Brand Manager Connor Bridgeman has confirmed as much in a super succinct tweet. Additionally, the Bang Tydy DLC will be available for $4.99 when it launches.

As we explained last time around, Void Bastards is a science fiction roguelike first-person shooter (FPS) that stands out with its gorgeous and vibrant comic book art style. The game was inspired by System Shock and BioShock, and you play as random prisoners with unique character traits that affect your gameplay experience in both positive and negative ways. When one prisoner dies, you switch to a new prisoner, but some things are retained from one prisoner to the next.
The Blue Manchu game released for PC and Xbox One last year to a positive reception, so now it’s Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 players’ turn to brave deadly sci-fi dangers in an exciting comic book setting. Slowly but surely, FPS options on Switch are increasing. For instance, Crysis Remastered has been outed for Switch, and fellow CryEngine title Warface recently released as well. And then there’s the fact that Doom Eternal is coming eventually.
