Void Bastards Nintendo Switch ESRB rating

Blue Manchu’s Void Bastards is a roguelike sci-fi FPS with a dazzling comic book aesthetic that released for PC and Xbox One last year. Around the start of 2020, it was found that the game had been rated in Europe for PlayStation 4 release. And to add to that, it has now been discovered that the ESRB has rated the game for Nintendo Switch as well. So, that’s about as good a sign as it gets that Void Bastards is headed to Nintendo Switch in the not-too-distant future. Thanks are due to Doctre81 for first making this ESRB discovery.

Void Bastards Nintendo Switch ESRB rating

Void Bastards was inspired by the likes of System Shock and BioShock, and you play as an expendable prisoner with unique gameplay quirks that both help and hurt the character. When one prisoner dies, you just get a new, different one to play as, but some things are retained from one prisoner for another, maintaining a sense of progress. The critical reception to the game on PC was overall really great, so if the game can maintain a decent frame rate while not looking hideous on Nintendo Switch, it sounds like we have a winner on our hands.

Are you intrigued to take Void Bastards for a go on Switch?
