Square Enix has released War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius globally for iOS and Android mobile devices. While it takes place in the same world as another mobile title, Brave Exvius, this is a standalone title with a different flavor of gameplay. Specifically, it seems to take a page from cherished classic Final Fantasy Tactics, as there is grid-based tactical RPG gameplay and even “Move” and “Jump” stats. The launch trailer showcases what players can expect from the game, including a seemingly robust job system.
War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is the closest we’ll get to Final Fantasy Tactics 2
The game takes place on the continent of Ardra, where there is a risk of war. The main characters are the twin princes Mont and Sterne from the kingdom of Leonis and Machérie, the “beautiful Steel Maiden of Hourne.” In other words, it sounds like the usual stuff this developer spits out these days.
