War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius mobile release iOS Android Final Fantasy Tactics Square Enix

Square Enix has released War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius globally for iOS and Android mobile devices. While it takes place in the same world as another mobile title, Brave Exvius, this is a standalone title with a different flavor of gameplay. Specifically, it seems to take a page from cherished classic Final Fantasy Tactics, as there is grid-based tactical RPG gameplay and even “Move” and “Jump” stats. The launch trailer showcases what players can expect from the game, including a seemingly robust job system.

War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is the closest we’ll get to Final Fantasy Tactics 2

The game takes place on the continent of Ardra, where there is a risk of war. The main characters are the twin princes Mont and Sterne from the kingdom of Leonis and Machérie, the “beautiful Steel Maiden of Hourne.” In other words, it sounds like the usual stuff this developer spits out these days.

Square Enix discusses the various limited-time events occurring to celebrate the launch of War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius:

  • Release Commemoration Login Bonus: All players can obtain Visiore, the premium in-game currency, valuable character enhancement materials and more simply by logging in daily.
  • Release Commemoration Quest: Players can attempt this quest once daily now through April 7. By completing this quest, players can earn valuable character enhancement materials.
  • FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers Collaborative Event: Available now through April 14th, completing these quests players can earn exclusive items, including those to enhance Y’shtola.
  • FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers Collaborative Summon: Players can obtain a unit or vision card of MR rarity or better from this limited-time banner, available now through April 14th. Players will also receive FINAL FANTASY XIV Summon Medals each time they complete a summon, which can be exchanged for valuable rewards.

You can grab War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius at App Store, Google Play, or Amazon App Store. Let us know if you’re willing to give it a shot. If not, Nintendo Switch itself has plenty of current or upcoming RPG experiences to choose from.
