What to expect

If you’re excited at the prospect of watching new game reveals, then The Game Awards 2019 should be right up your alley. According to Keighley, we can expect around 10 new reveals tonight, and none of them have leaked ahead of time. Obviously we’re hoping for Nintendo news here at Nintendo Enthusiast, and chances are good we’ll get some. Nintendo has dropped trailers at past shows, and they recently tweeted about the event, encouraging their fans to watch. Additionally, former Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime will be a presenter tonight. Current President Doug Bowser will also be there as an Advisory Board member.

If you’re more interested in the awards themselves, Nintendo should feature heavily there as well. Nintendo games are up for multiple honors at The Game Awards 2019, including Best Art Direction, Best Score/Music, Best Action Game, Best Action/Adventure Game, Best Fighting Game, Best Family Game, and Best Strategy Game.
