SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated review Nintendo Switch THQ Nordic Purple Lamp Studios Heavy Iron Studios

The weekend is upon us at last, and for many of us, that means finally sinking our teeth into a game or two. What does that entail for you? Whether you are knee-deep in the latest release or cruising through your backlog, let’s hear what you’ve got planned.

I’m still pretty hooked on Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but when I’m not playing that, I’m chipping away at SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated. The game is exactly what I had anticipated: a 3D platforming romp loaded to the brim with jokes and locations from SpongeBob SquarePants. I loved the game as a kid, and the show is still great fun today (maybe not the newer episodes, though), so I’m having an awesome time running through this once more.

Otherwise, I’m chipping away at The Last of Us: Part II, and having an amazing time while doing so. A much-anticipated follow-up to one of my favorite games of all time? Obviously I’m there.

What are you working on this weekend? Are you playing a brand new game, are you still hopelessly glued to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, or are you just doing some good old-fashioned backlogging? Share what you have going on in the comments.
