Another weekend is behind us, and for many of us, that meant that we could finally sink our teeth into a game or two. What did that entail for you? Whether you were knee-deep in the latest release or cruising through your backlog, let’s hear what you got done this weekend.

I spent a lot of time with Yoshi’s Woolly World on Wii U. That’s because I finished the incredible The Last of Us: Part II going into the weekend, and I absolutely needed something bright and cheery to cool off. I remembered grabbing this game a couple of weeks ago, and I was recently reunited with my Wii U for the first time in forever, so it worked out well. Most importantly, though, Yoshi’s Woolly World has delivered. I have played the first few worlds so far, and should be wrapping up the rest over the next couple of days. I’ve always had a soft spot for Yoshi platformers, and this is honestly the best one I’ve played outside of my beloved, impenetrable nostalgia ball in Yoshi’s Story.

What did you work on this weekend? Are you playing a brand new game, or did you just do some good old-fashioned backlogging? Are you remembering to check in every day on Animal Crossing: New Horizons? Share what you have going on in the comments.
