Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Koei Tecmo Nintendo 100 years before The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild BOTW Eiji Aonuma Yosuke Hayashi

Between The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule WarriorsFire Emblem Warriors, and now, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Koei Tecmo has done an excellent job of working Nintendo games into their raucous hack-and-slash Warriors series. Hopefully, we’ll see more out of this partnership in years to come, including more Nintendo IPs getting the Warriors treatment. What Nintendo IP do you think could best use a Warriors game?

There are plenty of franchises out there that could hold a very fun Warriors title to rival Hyrule Warriors, but I’d really like to see Xenoblade Warriors. The franchise thrives on beautiful settings and electric music, and the series lore celebrates plenty of great big battles. Giving us a slightly more active role in combat could be pretty fun as well. I’d love to rampage around the Bionis and its score of iconic locations while slaying hordes of Mechon.

What about you? What Nintendo IP do you think would benefit from getting its very own Warriors game? Do you want to see Xenoblade as much as I do? Would you rather take in something a bit more outlandish, like Kirby or Super Mario? Whatever your pick might be, share it with us in the comments.
